WELCOME TO MOUNTAIN’S EDGE!
Mountain's Edge is in the Enterprise area of southwest Las Vegas, bordered by Blue Diamond Road to the north and close to Interstate 15. This strategic location gives residents the best of both worlds: easy access to the excitement of the Las Vegas Strip as well as the perks of living in a quiet, community-oriented environment.
Spanning about 3,500 acres, Mountain’s Edge isn’t your typical neighborhood; it’s a community that highlights the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle. Approximately 500 acres of the locale is saved for Mountain's Edge parks and open spaces, enabling residents to enjoy outdoor pursuits without venturing too far.
Another thing that sets Mountain’s Edge apart is its eco-friendly practices, which include xeriscaping (landscaping using drought-tolerant plants) in the parks and open spaces. This helps conserve water while still keeping Mountain’s Edge green and beautiful throughout the year.
A brief history of Mountain’s Edge
Before Mountain’s Edge, there was mostly undeveloped land that sat on the outskirts of Las Vegas. The only thing remarkable about it was its proximity to the historic Old Spanish Trail, which transported many pioneers and prospectors westward during the Gold Rush.
In the early 2000s, however, Focus Property Group saw the land’s potential and turned over 3,500 acres into a well-planned community that blends convenience with outdoor living. By 2004, Mountain’s Edge was born. One of its first landmarks developed is Exploration Peak Park, an 80-acre public park that surrounds its namesake, the 2,850-foot Exploration Peak.
Today, Mountain’s Edge is an award-winning master-planned community and one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in the Las Vegas Valley.
